Today I'm sharing a card created using the contents of the Day 3 door.

 

I picked an analagous color combination featuring Misty Moonlight cardstock, Secret Sea cardstock and the designer series paper (DSP) that was in door 2. I used the embellishments in door 3 to make a thank you card using the stamp set that came with the advent calendar. This Big Thanks card was super easy to create.

Gold sparkling embellishments were in the Day 3 door. I placed them as flower centers on several of the floral images in the DSP and next to the sentiment on the card front for some bling.

Ocean Friends Thank You with Friends of the Ocean Paper Technique

My project features the Translucent Florals stamp set which I paired with the Inked Botanicals designer series paper (DSP). I die cut a Deckled Circle and stamped a flower, stem and leave images from the Translucent Florals set; the Thank You sentiment is from the Throughout the Year stamp set.

I embellished by adding ribbon and a few colored pearls from the Festive Pearls pack.

Seaside Bay with By the Bay DSP Fun Fold Card

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up's January to April 2023 mini catalog. I love the Seaside Bay stamp set. I love the imagery -- especially the crab! -- and the versatile sentiments.

The By the Bay suite (160450) includes the By the Bay specialty designer series paper (DSP), the Seaside Bay stamp set and coordinating dies, coordinating Balmy Blue & White varigated ribbon, and a pack of  Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearl embellishments. Click here to see this amazing suite.

For my project I used the Seaside Bay stamp set (160436) and the coordinating By the Bay specialty DSP. I added a bit of embellishment with the flat adhesive-backed pearls in the center of the oyster shell.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Painted Poppies Thank You

I did consider if I went overboard on embellishments - this card has Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Wink of Stella coloring and ribbon. I'd love it if you left me a comment with your thoughts. Thanks!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Double Oval Punch for the win!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects that feature Stampin' Up! punches. These projects were created by talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share projects with various design styles. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner's blog. What a great project!

My project features one of my favorite punches, the Double Oval punch. It's paired with two of my favorite sale-a-bration (SAB) items, the Beautifully Penned designer series paper (DSP) and the Be Dazzling specialty paper to create a special Thank You card. Both papers are free with a qualifying order through September - and free Stampin' Up stuff is always welcomed at my place!

I usually use both punch shapes from the Double Oval punch because I like the layering aspect with the small oval setting on top of the larger scalloped oval. However, for this card, I used the small oval for my sentiment and the same punch shape for the layer since I wanted to keep the focus on the beautiful DSP and sparkling Be Dazzling paper.

I added a few touches of color with my Blends Pens directly to the Beautifully Penned DSP and let the paper show it self off.
