Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Seaside Bay Sympathy Card

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature Sympathy or Thinking of You projects.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner's blog. What an inspiring project she shared!

My project features a Sympathy sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set which I paired with the Inked Botanicals designer series paper (DSP).
Seaside Bay stamp set #160436

Inked Botanicals DSP #161157

I layered three pieces of the Inked Botanicals DSP on Lost Lagoon cardstock which I adhered to a Pretty Peacock cardstock base. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder on a scrap of Pretty Peacock cardstock and added Paper Butterfly Accent as a simple embellishment.

Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Thank You

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature Thank You themed ideas.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Annette McMillan's blog. What a wonderful project Annette shared!
Translucent Florals stamp set #162243

Inked Botanicals DSP #161157

My project features the Translucent Florals stamp set which I paired with the Inked Botanicals designer series paper (DSP). I die cut a Deckled Circle and stamped a flower, stem and leave images from the Translucent Florals set; the Thank You sentiment is from the Throughout the Year stamp set.

I embellished by adding ribbon and a few colored pearls from the Festive Pearls pack.
Pecan Pie Bordered Ribbon #161634

Festive Pearls #159963

I think the Pecan Pie Bordered Ribbon adds a hint of nature that works well with the watercolor feel from the DSP. What do you think? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you!
