VLOG Hop - Quick Sweet Strawberry Card Using Scraps

Hi friends!

I'm participating in another Video Blog Hop (VLOG) today. The participants in this Global SU Share Fair VLOG Hop are located across the globe in Ireland, UK, and US. We are sharing videos showing how we each created fun projects using scraps.

I created my project using scraps of Basic White and Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.
Sweet Strawberry

I always have narrow strips of cardstock laying around. This project is perfect for creating really quick cards, using up those scraps to create fun cards. I had scraps of Basic White and Pear Pizzazz that I paired with a Thick White card base and a Soft Seafoam layer. Then I added an image and a sentiment from one of my favorite stamp sets, Sweet Strawberry.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Happy Birthday projects

Hi friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month celebrating birthdays is the theme for the projects we are sharing. These projects were created by talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share projects with various design styles. You may have arrived from Sandra Roberts' blog. What a wonderful birthday project!

Art Gallery stamp set and die bundle

My project features the Art Gallery bundle paired with the Dandy Garden designer series paper. While I created a birthday card this versatile stamp set bundle can be used to send I'm sorry, congratulations, good luck, best wishes, and more!
Art Galley stamps with Floral Gallery dies

I used a piece of designer series paper (DSP) from the Dandy Garden pack that features the new Misty Moonlight In Color. Then I incorporated the colors in the DSP in other elements of my card - layering a Floral Gallery floral die cut in white cardstock on a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock and using Misty Moonlight ink for the birthday greeting on another die cut from the Floral Gallery dies.

I added bling using the Genial Gems and a bit of gilded leafing on the edge of the cardstock. I ran tape runner - in a not so straight line!- along the left edge of the DSP and covered it with gilded leafing. Although it's not particularly straight or even, neither are the lines in the DSP 😊

I'm loving the gilded leafing, I'm a big fan! Are you a fan, too? Please leave me comment sharing why or why not. Thanks!

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. There are even more birthday themed projects so keep hopping! Click on the Next Blog image below to hop over to Krissi Hannahs' blog to see her fabulous project.
