When I started creating my mini desk calendar, I started with the lovely Expressions in Ink designer series paper (DSP). I'm loving the Expressions in Ink DSP - it's my most favoritist paper in the Annual Catalog! There is so much to love about it - the water color patterns, the gold veins and patterns, the colors and the florals patterns. It brings so much Wow to any project!

The sentiment I used, "Cherish every moment of this day," comes from the Forever Blossoms stamp set. I love the floral images and the beautiful fonts in this set.

VLOG Hop - Quick Sweet Strawberry Card Using Scraps

Hi friends!

I'm participating in another Video Blog Hop (VLOG) today. The participants in this Global SU Share Fair VLOG Hop are located across the globe in Ireland, UK, and US. We are sharing videos showing how we each created fun projects using scraps.

I created my project using scraps of Basic White and Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.

I always have narrow strips of cardstock laying around. This project is perfect for creating really quick cards, using up those scraps to create fun cards. I had scraps of Basic White and Pear Pizzazz that I paired with a Thick White card base and a Soft Seafoam layer. Then I added an image and a sentiment from one of my favorite stamp sets, Sweet Strawberry.

VLOG Hop - Brilliant Wings

I love the pop of cheery inks with the white cardstock. Instead of blending the ink colors as on the catalog project, I used the ink direct to cardstock technique to create my background. My video shares how to create the pretty inked background and how to use adhesive sheets when die cutting the butterflies so they are easily adhered to the card front.

My project features the lovely Dragonfly Garden bundle. I love its summery floral images and beautiful dragonflies. I used stamped images as well as a punched dragonfly punched with the coordinating Dragonflies punch from the bundle. My video shares how to create a lovely water color background and add elegant gilded leafing to create a special Thank You card.
