Look what I made - Share Sunshine!

Hello friends!

Last Thursday Stampin' Up! held an employee Day of Service event and invited demonstrators and customers to stamp along online. We used the Share Sunshine PDF Download (click here to see my blog post about it) to make cards to send to loved ones, frontline workers, etc. The PDF is available through June 2nd.

I mostly used my paper trimmer to cut the greetings and sentiments that I wanted to use on my cards. I did cut a few out using dies and punches, but not many.

I followed along on Facebook with Sara’s CEO Facebook page. If you were unable to participate in the live craft party, the replay is still available to view any time on Sara’s Facebook page.

I made 17 cards! I gave a few to my office mates and mailed many more. I used my favorite retiring designer series paper (DSP), Woven Threads, and mostly already retired embellishments. Without any further ado, here are my cards.

It's not too late to make some cards! You will need card bases, Designer Series Paper, a printed copy of the Share Sunshine PDF Download (which can be purchased here), embellishments, adhesive, and scissors or a Paper Trimmer. There is an instruction sheet for Sara’s four-step cards, which includes a cut map for your Designer Series Paper (any Designer Series Paper will work). Note: A full package of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper will be enough to make four kits (20 cards). You can find the instruction sheet here

If you do make cards with the PDF, please share. I'd love to see what you created!

Craft Party Online - Stamp along with Stampin' Up! TODAY!

Hello friend!

Today is the Stampin’ Up! employee Day of Service event and you're invited to stamp along with us! Because of current social distancing practices, home office employees are participating in Day of Service virtually, which offers demonstrators and customers the opportunity to be included in this service activity.

This year’s Day of Service, we will use the Share Sunshine PDF Download (click here to see my blog post about it) to make and send cards to loved ones, frontline workers, etc. As part of the Stampin' Up! Day of Service, the home office is providing each employee with the Share Sunshine PDF Download and will contribute $12 USD per employee to the COVID-19 response funds, as part of their COVID-19 giveback - resulting in a company donation of $5,820 for this Day of Service!

Stampin’ Up! employees, demonstrators, and customers will be gathering virtually for the Day of Service craft party on 21 May at 4:00 PM (EDT) to make cards together in a Facebook Live on Sara’s CEO Facebook page. If you are unable to participate in the live craft party, the replay will be available to view any time on Sara’s Facebook page.

To follow along during the live craft party, you will need card bases, Designer Series Paper, a printed copy of the Share Sunshine PDF Download (which can be purchased here), embellishments, adhesive, and scissors or a Paper Trimmer. To make it easy for everyone to participate, there is an instruction sheet for Sara’s four-step cards, which includes a cut map for your Designer Series Paper (any Designer Series Paper will work). Note: A full package of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper will be enough to make four kits (20 cards). You can find the instruction sheet here. Stampin' Up! encourages you to come prepared with pre-cut Designer Series Paper!

Monthly Crafting Blog Hop - Masculine Thinking of You

Hi friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring projects from talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share fun projects and various design styles. This month theme is masculine Thinking of You. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. I think she had a wonderful project!

My project features the Sailing Home stamp set and the coordinating Come Sail Away designer series paper (DSP). The DSP is retiring and won't be in the new catalog; it is currently available while supplies. The nautical theme in the Come Sail Away suite lends itself to easily making masculine type cards.

My card was inspired by a swing card tutorial created by Jan Brown. I love fun folds and this one is a favorite! I adjusted Jan's tutorial slightly in making my card; I made the DSP the same size as the card base panels and skipped putting DSP on the back panels.

Are you a fan of fun folds? I'd love to hear what type of card you enjoy making. Please leave a comment sharing your favorite type of card.

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more fun projects! Click on the Next Blog image below to hop over to Carol Payne's blog to see her fun project.

Global Su Share Fair - Look What I Made!

Hi friends!

As you may know, I participated in Global SU Share Fair on April 25th. I was among 17 demonstrators who provided Facebook Live stamping demonstrations. Our all day stamping live event (a stamp camp!) included demos from Australia, UK, Ireland, Canada, and the US!

I wasn't able to watch all the presentations live because of time zone differences and preparations for my own presentation. So far I've made about half of the projects that were shared. Some I substituted supplies based on what I had on hand, as each project used a Stampin' Up! designer series paper (DSP).

Did you watch the Share Fair? Which project was your favorite?

There is still time to join the group and see the all the wonderful presentations -- and craft along! Find the Global SU Share Fair on Facebook and request to join or ask me to add you. Find me on Facebook as Terri Kerfoot Stewart or on my Stamping is Fun private group.

Here are a few photos of the projects I've completed from the April Share Fair....and more to come!
