Monthly Crafting Blog Hop - Masculine Thinking of You

Hi friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring projects from talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share fun projects and various design styles. This month theme is masculine Thinking of You. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. I think she had a wonderful project!

My project features the Sailing Home stamp set and the coordinating Come Sail Away designer series paper (DSP). The DSP is retiring and won't be in the new catalog; it is currently available while supplies. The nautical theme in the Come Sail Away suite lends itself to easily making masculine type cards.

My card was inspired by a swing card tutorial created by Jan Brown. I love fun folds and this one is a favorite! I adjusted Jan's tutorial slightly in making my card; I made the DSP the same size as the card base panels and skipped putting DSP on the back panels.

Are you a fan of fun folds? I'd love to hear what type of card you enjoy making. Please leave a comment sharing your favorite type of card.

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more fun projects! Click on the Next Blog image below to hop over to Carol Payne's blog to see her fun project.

Stamping is fun!

  1. Terri, cute swing card using the Sailing Home stamp set. TFS Sandy

  2. Love this swing card - and you can never go wrong with that set. TFS

  3. I love the flip! I like anything that uses self adhesive embellishments.

  4. Also, nice to see your Global SU Share Fair badge. Never thought to use it as a widget!

  5. Nice Masculine card. The men in my life love the "moving" cards.

  6. I love fun fold cards. I cased Jan's card as a class idea but didn't go with it in the end. This is gorgeous and sure to bring a smile to any male face!
