Loveliest Tree - Emboss Resist Technique

 Hi friends!

I'm participating in another Bundle Bonus that goes live today. My project features Stampin' Up's Loveliest Tree stamp and die bundle.

Are you wondering what the Bundle Bonus is? Let me tell you about this inspiring program! When you purchase the featured bundle from me, I provide a bonus - all the inspiration you need to create with your new bundle. You get a pdf with lots of inspiring projects my demonstrator friends and I have created using the bundle - and many of them come with video tutorials. The pdf includes project photos, supply lists and measurements for each project.

This month we had 2 bundles to choose from - the Loveliest Tree bundle or the Adventurous Sky bundle. My project uses the Loveliest Tree stamp set and die bundle paired with the Nests of Winter designer series paper (DSP) and Birch Wood 3D embossing folder.

Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Loveliest Tree Sympathy

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature items from the new 2024-2025 Annual catalog.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Annette McMillan's blog. What an inspiring project she shared!

My project features the new Loveliest Tree stamp set and coordinating die bundle. This stamp set reminds me of the long retired Lovely as a Tree which at the time of its retirement was the oldest Stampin' Up stamp set. It was a favorite which is why I'm drawn to this bundle. As I recall, I used it to make many mascuine cards and sympathy cards.
Loveliest Tree die bundle #163716

Winter Meadow DSP #162133

I decided to create a sympathy card by stamping the tree image on the new Basic Beige cardstock in Pebbled Path. To create shadows in the tree, I stamped the tree in Pebbled Path then used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends on the trunk (dark Crumb Cake) and the tree top (light Crumb Cake). I layered the tree over a piece of moody Winter Meadow designer series paper (DSP).

Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Seaside Bay Sympathy Card

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature Sympathy or Thinking of You projects.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner's blog. What an inspiring project she shared!

My project features a Sympathy sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set which I paired with the Inked Botanicals designer series paper (DSP).
Seaside Bay stamp set #160436

Inked Botanicals DSP #161157

I layered three pieces of the Inked Botanicals DSP on Lost Lagoon cardstock which I adhered to a Pretty Peacock cardstock base. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder on a scrap of Pretty Peacock cardstock and added Paper Butterfly Accent as a simple embellishment.

Retiring - By the Bay DSP, Soft Suede and Sahara Sand Colors

Hi friends!

I'm wishing farewell to products retiring from Stampin' Up's 2022-2023 Annual catalog as well as those retiring from the Jan to April 2023 Mini catalog. Many items from these catalogs are on sale up, some up to 60% off! Click here to shop my online store and the Last Chance Sale.

Today, I'm sending off favorites from the Mini catalog - the bundle price for the Seaside stamp and dies as well as the coordinating designer series paper (DSP). From the 2022-2023 Annual catalog, it's farewell to one of my favorite colors, Soft Suede.
Seaside Bay bundle #160445

By the Bay DSP #160434

The stamped images all come from the Seaside Bay stamp set; one image has been die cut with the coordinating dies. This stamp set is so versatile! The greetings can be used for a variety of occasions and the images lend themselves to masculine cards, thank you, sympathy, birthday, etc. The same for the DSP.
Thank You

While the stamp set and dies are NOT retiring, the bundle price saving 10% is retiring. The 10% discounted bundle price is available until May 1st when the Mini catalog ends. The stamps and coordinating dies will be avilable separately in the 2023-2024 Annual catalog with no bundle savings.

My sample card was a sympathy card; I made a thank you card during my Facebook Live. Which version do you prefer?

Paper Crafting Monthly Bog Hop - Sun Prints with Inspired Thoughts Sympathy Card

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Our theme this month is sympathy cards.

This month, each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created an inspiring sympathy project. You may have arrived from Juilia Mazur's blog. What a great design!

I have fallen in love with the Sun Prints collection found in the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog. The designer series paper (DSP) is so fun! Maybe it brings back memories of the cyanotype paper I used in school experiments? I paired the DSP with the Fern 3D embossing folder from the Collection with the Inspired Thoughts stamps along with 2 different punches to create my sympathy card. My card was inspired a card Claire Daly posted on her blog.
