I love the Ring of Love designer series paper (DSP). I started with a piece with images of houses on it. My plan was to make a new house congratulations card. But a funny thing happened - the reverse side caught my attention and I went in a totally different direction. Has that ever happened to you?

I ended up with this all-occasion congratulations card. The pattern was so striking it needed very little embellishment. Do you agree? Leave me a comment sharing your thoughts. Thank you!

I layered the Congratulations sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on an Evening Evergreen cardstock base punched with the Double Oval Punch; I daubed a bit of Night of Navy ink around the edges of the punched sentiment before adhering Soft Succulent Shimmer ribbon to the card front.

WooHoo Weekend - It is Here!

Hey friends!

It's here! The weekend where me and 11 other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from across the globe join forces to bring you creative and inspiring content; the fun just started, watch live tonight or on replay. Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Thinking of You

Welcome to our April Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop focusing on products for celebrating the women in your life. If you arrived from Sandy Ward's blog, you saw her wonderful Bloom By Bloom project!

My "girly" project is a 2-fer...a card with a small gift box, both featuring Highland Heather cardstock; the floral card features Highland Heather Gingham Gala designer series paper (DSP) and the gift box, a mini pizza box, is just the right size for a gift card or other small gift.

Are you a fan of the Highland Heather color? I'd love to hear what your favorite color of the moment it is. Leave me a comment and let me know what color you're currently favoring. As you see below, Highland Heather is a current go-to for me!
