Retiring - Hand-Penned Petals and Ready to Ride DSP

Hi friends!

I'm wishing farewell to products retiring from Stampin' Up's 2022-2023 Annual catalog as well as those retiring from the Jan to April 2023 Mini catalog. Many items from these catalogs are on sale up, some up to 60% off! Click here to shop my online store and the Last Chance Sale.

Today, I'm saying farewell to the lovely Hand-Penned Petals stamp set which I paired with the also retiring Painted Labels dies, Layering Circles dies, and the Ready to Ride designer series paper (DSP) in a pocket fun fold card.

Ready to Ride DSP #160752
Painted Labels #151605

While the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set has a variety of floral images, I only use the Feel Better sentiment for this pocket card fun fold.

Does this design work as a masculine-type get well card? Which DSP pattern do you prefer? The Tire tracks with motorcycles or the 2-pattern version? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. Thanks!

Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop - Rings Of Love DSP Congratulations

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! The theme of the hop this month is congratulations.

This month, each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created an inspiring project to send a congratulations wish. You may have arrived from Tracy Held's blog. What a great design!

I love the Ring of Love designer series paper (DSP). I started with a piece with images of houses on it. My plan was to make a new house congratulations card. But a funny thing happened - the reverse side caught my attention and I went in a totally different direction. Has that ever happened to you?

Rings of Love DSP #159939 Sale-a-bration item!

During Sale-a-bration with a $50 order you qualify for a free Sale-a-bration item and you could pick the Rings of Love DSP.

I ended up with this all-occasion congratulations card. The pattern was so striking it needed very little embellishment. Do you agree? Leave me a comment sharing your thoughts. Thank you!

I layered the Congratulations sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on an Evening Evergreen cardstock base punched with the Double Oval Punch; I daubed a bit of Night of Navy ink around the edges of the punched sentiment before adhering Soft Succulent Shimmer ribbon to the card front.

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more inspiring congratulations cards! Click on the Next Blog image below to Maureen Rauchfuss' blog.

VLOG Hop Sketch Challenge - Hand Penned for the win!

Hi friends!

It's Video Blog Hop (VLOG) day! The participants in this Global SU Share Fair VLOG Hop are located across the globe. This month were holding a Sketch Challenge. Each of us took the challenge to create a project using the same sketch.
VLOG Sketch

I started with the Hand-Penned designer series paper (DSP) picked my cardstock, Garden Green, from several that coordinates with it and paired them with the coordinating stamp set, Hand-Penned Petals.

While I mostly followed the sketch measurements, I did make changes to the layout by turning my design on the side to make a landscape card.
