Hi Friends!
Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! The theme of the hop this month is congratulations.
This month, each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created an inspiring project to send a congratulations wish. You may have arrived from Tracy Held's blog. What a great design!
I love the Ring of Love designer series paper (DSP). I started with a piece with images of houses on it. My plan was to make a new house congratulations card. But a funny thing happened - the reverse side caught my attention and I went in a totally different direction. Has that ever happened to you?
Rings of Love DSP #159939 Sale-a-bration item! |
During Sale-a-bration with a $50 order you qualify for a free Sale-a-bration item and you could pick the Rings of Love DSP.
I ended up with this all-occasion congratulations card. The pattern was so striking it needed very little embellishment. Do you agree? Leave me a comment sharing your thoughts. Thank you!
I layered the Congratulations sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set on an Evening Evergreen cardstock base punched with the Double Oval Punch; I daubed a bit of Night of Navy ink around the edges of the punched sentiment before adhering Soft Succulent Shimmer ribbon to the card front.
