Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Gift Card Holder

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month we are sharing gift packaging projects. Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, created a packaging project. Each month we share projects with various design styles. You may have arrived from Julia Quinn's blog. Wasn't her packaging project wonderful!

I love giving gift cards as gifts. They always seem to be the right size, color, or something the recipient had a hankering for 😉

Another demonstrator, Joy Nelson, shared the template for this gift card holder during a stamping party we held in a private Facebook group, WooHoo Weekend. It was new to me and I fell in love with it! If you would like access to our WooHoo Weekend group, hit me up. I'd love to have you join us.
Whimsy & Wonder DSP with Christmas to Remember sentiment

Inside the card the gift card is revealed

My version features the lovely Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper (DSP) - it's one of my favorite DSPs in the Holiday mini!

For the sentiment, I used a stamp for the Christmas to Remember stamp set for the front that picked up on the the holly in the DSP. I added a bit of bling with the Gold Holly leaves and rhinestones I colored using a Stampin' Up Flirty Flamingo alcohol Blends marker.

Whimsical Trees #156330
Inside I used the holly image from the coordinating Whimsical Trees stamp set with alcohol Blends markers and a greeting from the same set.

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more projects celebrating December! Click on the Next Blog image below to Joy Nelson's blog see her wonderful project.

Partridge in a Pear Tree - More Inspiration Coming!

 Hi friends!

My project is the first photo

I'm sharing the project I stamped live yesterday in the 12 Days of Christmas & More Facebook group.

It's my take on the Partridge in a Pear Tree. I used the Beautiful Trees dies which includes a tree die and a die to cut 2 birds. The cool thing about the bird die is that it cuts 2 birds that face the opposite direction. I love those little birds!

Beautiful Trees dies #155840

From the Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper (DSP) pack I selected the iridescent strip pattern. I
felt it gave a icy-feeling to the front.

VLOG Hop - Gifting a Gift Card Bagalope

Hi friends!

It's the last day of the month and that means it's Video Blog Hop (VLOG) day! The participants in this Global SU Share Fair VLOG Hop are located across the globe. Our theme this month is gift wrapping ideas.

I like giving gift cards. They are always the right color, size and fit 😉 Since they are my favorite I am sharing a east way to gift a gift card. Using my favorite holiday designer series paper, Whimsy & Wonder, I created a bagalope. The bagalope is super easy to make, just start with an envelope!

Bagalope for gifting a gift card

I usually prefer traditional Christmas colors. This year the pastel colors in the Whimsy & Wonder DSP really spoke to me and it's become my go for Christmas crafting. The Blushing Bride Frayed ribbon ices the cake.

The Season's Greetings sentiment comes from the Penguin Place stamp set; I punch it our using the Double Oval punch. The greeting works perfectly with the DSP.

I made a couple variations

Global SU Share Fair Blog Hop - Whimsy & Wonder card

Hi friends!

In January I participated in a Global SU Share Fair Facebook group live stamping event. I was one of 16 SU demonstrators from around the world who participated. Each demo also created a tutorial for her project which was consolidated into a PDF document containing all 16 projects.

We broadcast on Facebook in the Global SU Share Fair group about every other month; videos are available on replay if you miss the live stamping. The next live stamping day is scheduled for November 6th. Save the date for some amazing quick packaging ideas!

This month we have CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) a project from the January tutorials but have given them a Christmas or Winter theme using different cardstock and designer series paper (DSP). Follow this blog hop and you'll see many fabulous projects. You may have arrived from Shirley Merker's blog -- her CASE project is wonderful!

Angie Oldenburg's Global SU Share Fair Forever Greenery project inspired my Christmas CASE card.

I CASE'd Angie's tutorial using the Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper (DSP) with the Banner Year stamps set for a Christmas sentiment. I love the sparkles this DSP adds with its foiling patterns! I topped it off with even more bling by placing an iridescent Wonderful Snowflake on top.
