Santa and his Sleigh are Coming to Town - Alternate HoHoHo Paper Pumpkin Kit Card

Hi Friends!

I'm sharing an alternate Christmas card project featuring the October2022 Paper Pumpkin kit, HoHoHo. I hope this alternative card sparks your creativity, too!

I love the Santa's sleigh image from the HoHoHo kit. I couldn't wait to create a Christmas card with it. I decided to make a quick and easy card with Santa's face as the focal point. The sleigh and the reindeer pulling it add a festive touch!
Santa's Hat Embellished with Pearlized Enamel Effects

I used Pearlized Enamel Effects to add a bit of bling to Santa. I made the same card but not so much bling on his hat. Which do you prefer? Please leave me a commment with your thoughts. I really appreciate it!

Puffy Jolly Santa - Alternative HoHoHo Paper Pumpkin Kit Card

Hi Friends!

I'm sharing another alternate Christmas card project featuring the October2022 Paper Pumpkin kit, HoHoHo. On this card I use Snowfall Accents Puff paint and share tips and tricks from my lessons learned experiments. I hope this alternative card sparks your creativity, too!

While I appreciate elegant Christmas cards and enjoy creating them, sometimes a festive Santa Christmas card is just as fun! The jolly Santa stamp in the October kit definitely fits the bills for a fun and festive image. This the card I created with that idea in mind.

I wanted to step it up, and add a bit of wow. So I turned to the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. I did a few experiments and found I could somewhat control how puffy it got when heated by how much I squeezed out and which speed on my heat tool I used. From what learned from those experiments, I created this card.
Which version do you prefer? I'd love to hear from you, please leave me a comment with your favorite.

Snowflakes - Alternative Paper Pumpkin HoHoHo Kit Card

Hi Friends!

I'm sharing an alternate Christmas card project featuring the October 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit, HoHoHo. I hope this alternative card sparks your creativity, too!

The little snowflake from the stamp set in the kit caught my eye and I couldn't wait to create a festive Christmas card with it. I decided to incorporate Orchid Oasis ink and a Orchid Oasis pattern found in the In Color designer series paper (DSP) pack.

I started with a Balmy Blue card base, added a layer of Basic White cardstock and a piece of  Orchid Oasis DSP. After stamping a few snowflakes and sentiments this card was just about done. Quick and easy with a bit of bling!
