Hi stamping friends!

I have lots of exciting stamping news to share....
  1. The 2011-2012 Stampin Up Idea Book & Catalog (IBC) ends a month early on May 31st to make way for the new catalog. Stampin Up has just released the list of retiring stamps; after May 31 these stamps will not be available in the new catalog. Quantities are limited, so these retiring stamps are first come, first served. Click to view the retiring stamps. I can provide the list in either a pdf file or a searchable spreadsheet; email me at terhare@hotmail.com
  2. The current mini catalog expires on April 30th; click here to take a look. The next mini will be out on August 1st and run through the end of the year. The new mini catalogs will be bigger---more pages, more seasonal items!
  3. The clearance rack has been re-stocked with new items---many current punches in the old lever style are on sale. The clearance items can only be purchased online. click here to see what's on sale. Clearance rack items are available in limited quantities; if you find a great bargain, don't delay because it may sell out soon (this is the voice of experience!).
  4. For April, Stampin Up is offering a sneak preview sale of several items from the new 2012-2013 catalog. The promotion is called Summer Smooches. There are 9 preview products available for sale only during April (2 of the products won't be available in the new catalog--the fabric brads and the stencil will only be sold during APRIL). Click to take a look at the Summer Smooches.
A quick reminder....the next monthly hostess stamp club meets this Tuesday, April 17th at 7pm. There is one seat left this month; the cost is $10 or the class is free with a $25 order. The club is making 3 projects --a mother's day card featuring the labels Framelits, a masculine birthday featuring Well Worn Designer Series Paper (DSP), and a small notepad featuring the Summer Smooches DSP. Call or email me today to reserve your spot!

Quick Thank You cards

Hi Stamping friends!

I found myself in need of several Thank You notes and none on hand. A quick Pinterest search gave me inspiration for these cards -- thank you Natalie Decker for the inspiration! To view her sample click here. And just like that I had these cute cards in the mail!

These cards used Stampin Up's Day of Gratitude stamps and the Finial Press embossing folder.

St. Patrick's Day card

Hi stamping friends!

It's mid March and that can only mean St. Patrick's Day is just aroud the corner. I love eating the traditional Irish meal on the 17th---corned beef and boiled potatoes, cabbage, and carrots is one of my favoritest meals! Not so much green beer!!

I copied a card made by another Stampin Up demonstrator--Kimberley Dawn Lewis (from Alberta, Canada). I love the colors and design, plus the fact she used Stampin Up's I Heart Hearts stamp set to make a shamrock; what creativity!

I gave these cards to my monthly hostess club members with their orders. I hope they like them! If you live in the Baltimore-Annapolis area contact me about joining a monthly hostess club; who knows what may turn up with your order!

Simply Scored Diagonal plate now available

Hi Stamping friends!

Stampin Up's newest, really cool item is the diagonal plate for the Simply Scored tool. Anyone who has stamped with me knows I am all about coordinating envelopes with my cards--this tool takes this concept to another level! With the diagonal plate you can easily make your own envelopes from Designer Series Paper (DSP) in coorindating colors and patterns. It's just too cool for words.

Besides envelopes you can use the diagonal plate to score patterns on your cards and easily make boxes and bags.

Check out this short video to learn more about this super-cool tool. If you are interested in purchasing this item, click here to visit my online store.

Welcome banner (PPA130)

Hi Stamping friends!

I love stamping and sharing my projects with the people around me. One project I recently made was for a new cubicle-mate. The established cube-mates (notice I did not say OLD!) decided we would provide a warm welcome for the newbie by leaving a few treats on her desk for her to discover on her first day.

She had flowers and cupcakes waiting for her and a lovely Welcome banner....wonder who provided the banner {smile}? I draped it acrossed her computer monitor so there was no missing it!

This was a very easy project because I had all the tools at hand---Stampin Up's Labels collection framelits, DSP, timeless type junior alphabet dies, floral fusion die, beautiful wings embosslit die, ribbon, and the bird builder punch. It looks like I spent hours but it came together surprisingly fast.

Now I have the banner bug and I'm considering making myself a larger one to hang vertically at home by the front door.

February monthly stamp club projects

Hi friends!

I thought I would share with you the projects I taught at my monthly hostess stamp club.

We made a telescoping card with Stampin Up's Label Collection framelit dies and the Everybunny stamp set.

The next card showcased Stampin Up's Simply Scored tool. We used it to make a rosette/lollie and used it as an embellishment on this card. We stamped with one of my favoritest stamps, the Medallion.

Since it is a Sale-a-bration month, we used SAB items on the final project--a cute treat tube with a few chocolate miniatures tucked inside! We used the Elementary Elegance stamp set, in-color cardstock, and DSP. It's too cute!

If you live in the Baltimore-Annapolis area, it's not too late to join this club. Contact me today to reserve your spot (terhare@hotmail.com or 410.647.4011)
