Stamp Club Project - Cottage Wreaths with Vellum Basics

Hi friends!

I'm sharing projects I've created for my monthly Hostess Stamp Club. We meet once a month and I design several projects for the club members

Today, I'm featuring the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths dies which I paired with a piece of the Vellum Basics Specialty designer series paper (DSP) to create this simple, elegant card.

This lovely card was one of the May 2023 club projects. It showcases the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and coordinating dies. What are your thoughts about this card? Elegant or too plain?

What is Stamp Club?
A group of stampers (club members) meet once a month for 6 months to learn stamping techniques while making 3-4 stamping projects I have prepped for you. Each member makes a minimum monthly purchase of $25 (excluding shipping & tax) for 6 months. This is a great way to whittle down your wish list while gradually building up your supplies.

Stamp Club Benefits
  • Stamping each month with the club, where you'll learn new techniques and get ideas for great stamping projects
  • Access to the Stamp Club Facebook private club group with project photos and supply list details (and some videos of previous stamp club sessions)
  • Email with photos, project supply lists with cutting info, and links to the project inspiration after each club session
  • Hostess benefits during your hostess month
  • Copies of the Annual Catalog and mini catalogs as they launchDetails of Club
This 6-month session club begins this month and runs through March. Monthly Stamp Club meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm.

Hit me up if you have any questions.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Distressed Tile Embossing with Cottage Wreaths Baby Wipe Technique

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! The hop this month our projects feature products found in the September to December Mini Catalog.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Maureen Rauchfuss' blog. Her projects are always inspiring!

My project features the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder from the September to December Mini Catalog which I paired with the Cottage Wreaths stamp set.

Cottage Wreaths #159652

I added a bit of embellishment with the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack (#162192), also found in the Mini Catalog. After I embossed the Copper Clay cardstock, I distressed it by dragging a Copper Clay ink pad over the embossed areas.

What do you think about highlighting the distressed embossing with ink? Is it too much distressing for your taste? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you!

I used the baby wipe technique to achieve the multicolored fall leaves. It's an easy technique! Place a few drops of several reinkers on a baby wipe to create a temporary ink pad to stamp with. I used Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie reinkers. I did ink and stamp the wreath image twice to get a "fluffier" wreath. Super simple!

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more inspiring cards.
