Hi Friends!
Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! The hop this month our projects feature products found in the September to December Mini Catalog.
Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Maureen Rauchfuss' blog. Her projects are always inspiring!
My project features the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder from the September to December Mini Catalog which I paired with the Cottage Wreaths stamp set.
Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder #162189 |
Cottage Wreaths #159652 |
I added a bit of embellishment with the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack (#162192), also found in the Mini Catalog. After I embossed the Copper Clay cardstock, I distressed it by dragging a Copper Clay ink pad over the embossed areas.
What do you think about highlighting the distressed embossing with ink? Is it too much distressing for your taste? Leave me a comment with your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you!
I used the baby wipe technique to achieve the multicolored fall leaves. It's an easy technique! Place a few drops of several reinkers on a baby wipe to create a temporary ink pad to stamp with. I used Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie reinkers. I did ink and stamp the wreath image twice to get a "fluffier" wreath. Super simple!
Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more inspiring cards.
