Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Painted Trees for Christmas

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our theme features products found in the September to December Mini Catalog. Are you ready for some fabulous projects?

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project that will inspire you. You may have arrived from Julia Quinn's blog. What a wonderful project she shared!
Peaceful Season Stamp and Die Bundle #164021

Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder #164026

My project features the Peaceful Season stamp set and coordinating Peaceful Season Dies. I paired these stamps and dies with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing folder.

I created an artsy winter scene by daubing Shaded Spruce ink over the embossed Painted Trees. I added a sentiment and die cut from the Peaceful Season stamp and die bundle along with a bit of  Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer ribbon - all from the new Mini Catalog! For a bit of bling, I added a few Iridescent Faceted Gems that have a snowflake look.

I layered the embossed trees over a piece of Wild Wheat for a touch of gold. What do you think? Hit or a miss?
