Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Gold Peaceful Evergreens with Peaceful Season

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our theme is Gold or Silver. Are you ready for some fabulous projects showcasing gold and silver?

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project that will inspire you. You may have arrived from Julia Quinn's blog. What a wonderful project she shared!

I struggled with deciding on whether to go Team Gold or Team Silver. In the end, I pick gold as I wanted to incorporate Gold Foil I had on hand. Then I had to decide on a card to showcase it. Let me tell you the struggle was real!

I finally settled on remaking a card I created way back in October but changing out some items in favor of gold - my plan was to use gold foil and gold embossing. I started with the Peaceful Season stamp and die bundle and the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set.
Peaceful Season Stamp & Die Bundle #164021
Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set #164153
My orginal card was inspired by the cards samples shown in the Mini Catalog. This was the card I decided to remake, adding gold foil and gold embossing.
My orginal card

I replaced the Iridescent Striped Trim with gold foil that I embossed using the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder to give it a look of hammered gold nuggets. I heat embossed the tree image and the In The Air sentiment with gold embossing powder, then used the Gold Drusy adhesive-backed embellishments instead of the silver. And voila, my remade card with many touches of gold.

Loveliest Tree - Emboss Resist Technique

 Hi friends!

I'm participating in another Bundle Bonus that goes live today. My project features Stampin' Up's Loveliest Tree stamp and die bundle.

Are you wondering what the Bundle Bonus is? Let me tell you about this inspiring program! When you purchase the featured bundle from me, I provide a bonus - all the inspiration you need to create with your new bundle. You get a pdf with lots of inspiring projects my demonstrator friends and I have created using the bundle - and many of them come with video tutorials. The pdf includes project photos, supply lists and measurements for each project.

This month we had 2 bundles to choose from - the Loveliest Tree bundle or the Adventurous Sky bundle. My project uses the Loveliest Tree stamp set and die bundle paired with the Nests of Winter designer series paper (DSP) and Birch Wood 3D embossing folder.
