Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature items from the new 2024-2025 Annual catalog.
Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Annette McMillan's blog. What an inspiring project she shared!
My project features the new Loveliest Tree stamp set and coordinating die bundle. This stamp set reminds me of the long retired Lovely as a Tree which at the time of its retirement was the oldest Stampin' Up stamp set. It was a favorite which is why I'm drawn to this bundle. As I recall, I used it to make many mascuine cards and sympathy cards.
Loveliest Tree die bundle #163716
Winter Meadow DSP #162133
I decided to create a sympathy card by stamping the tree image on the new Basic Beige cardstock in Pebbled Path. To create shadows in the tree, I stamped the tree in Pebbled Path then used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends on the trunk (dark Crumb Cake) and the tree top (light Crumb Cake). I layered the tree over a piece of moody Winter Meadow designer series paper (DSP).
If you do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would be happy to be yours and help you plan fun stamping projects.
