Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Nature's Prints

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month our projects feature retiring items from either of the 2023-2024 Annual catalog or the January to April 2024 Mini catalog. These are known as the Last Chance items.

Each hop participant, talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, has created a paper craft project to inspire you. You may have arrived from Julia Quinn's blog. What an inspiring project she shared!

My project features the retiring Nature's Prints stamp set which I paired with the coordinating Fern 3D embossing folder. I used two easy techniques on this card to highlight the lovely textures and images in both.
Nature's Prints #158793
Fern 3D Embossing Folder #158804

I swiped the Daffodil Delight ink pad on the Fern 3D embossing folder before embossing a piece of Basic White cardstock to highlight the marvelous fern textures. Before stamping the focal point on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I pressed half of the H Block on the Daffodil Delight ink pad then turned the block and pressed the other half in the retiring Parakeet Party ink pad and lightly sprizted water on it using a Stampin' Spritzer before stamping the block onto the Very Vanilla cardstock. I let the cardstock dry before stamping the image on top in Memento Tuxedo Black.

Have you tried either of these techniques? Leave me a comment with your thoughts on these techniques.

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. Keep hopping to see even more inspiring cards.
