Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Gilded Autumn Fall

Hello friends!

Welcome to our monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop! This month were highlighting Designer Series Paper (DSP) and celebrating Fall. All the blog posts in this hop feature projects created by talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, so you'll see Fall themes that may differ from our typical US themes. It's fascinating! Each month we share fun projects and various design styles. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. Her project is fabulous!

I love fun folds and when I saw a pop-up mini cube card I knew I had to try my hand at creating one!

I used Gilded Autumn DSP with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso cardstock. It's a color combination that reminds me of Fall leaves and these colors coordinate perfectly with a pattern found in the Gilded Autumn DSP pack.

I added a sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set and my fun fold card was complete. My project  was inspired by a Dawn Griffth video tutorial (click here to view).

Thank you for hopping around the world with us. There are even more Fall-themed projects so keep hopping! Click on the Next Blog image below to hop over to Krissi Hannahs' blog to see her wonderful project.

Joining the Facebook Global SU Share Fair is by invitation only; this event is only for my customers (and downline) - you're my customer if you have ever placed an order with me. Please leave a comment below or PM me to receive your invitation (or search for the Global SU Share Fair group and request to join). You will need to accept the invitation to join the group. The Demonstrators leading each stamp session are sharing the supplies needed on the group page now, if you want to craft along. There is still time to gather the supplies prior to the event and create along with us. If you don’t have the exact supplies, gather similar items you do have. Please don't forget to share what you create during the Share Fair.

I'm looking forward to sharing my Merry Moose stamping project with you!

Throwback Thursday - Halloween Treats

 Hello friends!

Throwback Thursday with awesome, no-adhesive Halloween treat from 2014....and these nugget holders are quick and easy to create!!!

For these pumpkin nugget holders:
  • cut pumpkin pie cardstock 2 x 5.5"
  • score at 2" and 3.5"
  • punch each end with the scallop tag punch
  • Stamp as desired
  • Place 2 nuggets inside and tie ribbon at top.
The ribbon holds the sides tight and keeps the nuggets in place--no adhesive needed!

Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks - register ASAP!

Hello friends!

It's that time of year when the weather turns cooler and the leaves begin to change and I start thinking about Christmas cards 🎄

Once again I am offering 2 different Christmas card stamp-a-stacks (SAS), each featuring different designer series paper (DSP), one in October and the other in November. These will be virtual events (platform TBD; Facebook, Zoom, or a combo). Event videos will be available for replay on Facebook.

Each Christmas card SAS will feature a different DSP and different card designs. Participants will make 12 cards at each SAS, 3 each of 4 designs. These Christmas SAS's are product-based classes meaning the cost of the class includes a DSP pack, a coordinating roll of ribbon and gems; participants provide their own ink and stamps. In addition to cards kits (containing card bases, cardstock, DSP pieces cut and embossed, and envelopes), participants receive the leftover DSP, ribbon, and gems to make more cards!

The first Christmas SAS will be held Saturday Oct 31st, 11-2pm, featuring Tis the Season DSP, Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Satin ribbon, and Holiday Rhinestone Basic jewels. RSVP and payment due by October 14th. Space is limited RSVP today!

The second Christmas SAS is scheduled for Saturday Nov 21st, 11-2pm, and features Snowflake Splendor DSP,Snowflake Splendor 1/4" ribbon, and Blue Adhesive-Backed gems. RSVP and payment due by November 4th. Reserve your spot now!

Cost is $40 for each SAS. Save $10 by registering for both SAS by October 14th! Payment options are cash, check, Paypal, Venmo, and Cash App.

Both SAS's will be held virtually. I'm hoping to use Zoom meetings for the live stamping demonstrations and share it to Facebook in real time. As of today, I anticipate live stamping for each design, starting at 11am then on the hour for each of the remaining designs (12pm, 1pm, 2pm). Videos will be available for replay on Facebook.
