Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop -- Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog

Hello friends!

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe. Our goal is to share fun projects and various design styles with you. You may have arrived from Sue Boerner’s blog. I think her project is fabulous!

This month our projects feature Sale-a-Bration (SAB) items and products from the new Mini catalog. My card uses the SAB Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Timeless Tulips stamp set from the Mini catalog. I love the beautiful, vibrant colors in the DSP--even better it's a FREE SAB selection. Yay!

I love a bargain and in my book free is the best bargain! What items from either the new Mini or SAB catalog tickle your fancy? Leave a comment and let me know!

My card was inspired by a similar card made by fellow demo, Jennifer Sunseri, which I saw on a demo-only site. Her version featured Perennial Essence DSP along with the new Timeless Tulips stamp set--which can be bundled with the coordinating punch. This design is perfect for birthday greetings, get well thoughts, thank you, etc. All of these sentiments, and more, are included in the Itty Bitty Greetings making it a go-to stamp set!

I used Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green inks for my stamped images to coordinate with the colors found in the Lily Impressions DSP. The coordinating Tulip Builder punch made easy work of punching out the larger tulip image. I fussy cut the smaller tulip image and popped them both up with dimensionals. Wink of Stella adds a little touch of sparkle to the leaves. Speaking of the leaves, did you know by stamping the opposite ends of one leaf image you can get two different leaves!
