Hello friends!
I hope you are enjoying our February Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop
highlighting products from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration (SAB) and the new Occasions catalogs. During SAB you can
earn for FREE items with every $50 order...and new free items were just added! Fellow Stampin Up demonstrators from all over the globe are
participating in this hop.....we have many wonderful projects to share with
you!
You may have arrived from Darla Roberts' blog. Her Lasting Lily project is fabulous!
I was inspired by a pop up slider card Louise Jarosz posted on a closed demo site. I had intended to use the Well Said stamps and Well Written thinlits on this card. I can't quite remember why those plans were tossed aside....but in the end I did create a pop up slider (shout out to Barb Mullikin for her tutorial! click here). I love cards with a movement element. This card is also a full sized card, with the pop up feature attached to the card front providing plenty of space inside for a personal message. Bonus!
My project features the SAB Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the SAB Organdy ribbon combo pack, both available only during SAB. I love Barb's idea of using the rectangle stitched framelits to cut the opening and guesstimating where to score....these framelits are my latest obsession, I can't seem to make a card without them! The framelits and the Beauty Abounds stamp set (featured in this project) are from the Occasions catalog, another reason to love this catalog!
Without further ado, my pop up slider card.....
