Welcome to our August Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop focusing on birthday celebrations. If you arrived from Sandy Ward's blog, you saw her wonderful project!
My project is a birthday card that was inspired by a card I saw demonstrated at a Stampin Up event. I love replicating cards and putting my own spin on it!
I am a big fan of Coastal Cabana and was super excited when it returned with the color refresh last year. That might be why I wanted to recreate this card when I snapped this photo at the event...
Are you a fan of the Coastal Cabana color? I'd love to hear what your favorite color of the moment it is. Leave me a comment and let me know what color you're currently favoring.
I tweaked the card a tiny bit; my card adds silver metallic edged ribbon and silver metallic pearls for a bit of bling.
Besides being drawn to the color of the card, I loved that this was a quick and easy card to assemble. Quick and easy are needed when you celebrate 8 birthdays in July and August as my family does!
